RECREATION FACILITIES BEHAVIOUR POLICY
The Recreation Facilities Behaviour Policy is about providing a safe and welcoming environment for all people using and participating in Tla’amin Nation recreation facilities, programs and services. The Tla’amin Nation has adopted a zero “0” tolerance strategy for dealing with inappropriate behaviour displayed by users and visitors. WAIVER OF LIABILITY
By registering myself or the above listed minor(s) as their parent/guardian, I acknowledge and assume all inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, which can result in serious personal injury, death, property damage, and other loss, associated with participation in the above specified program(s) offered by Tla’amin Nation. Tla’amin Nation accepts no liability for bodily injury, death, property or loss due to any cause whatsoever, unless due to the negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Tla’amin Nation, including its elected officials, directors, officers, employees and agents.
PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE POLICY
I consent to Tla’amin Nation taking photographs and other forms of digital media ("Media") of myself and/or my child and consent to the Nation using such Media for the purpose of marketing Tla’amin Nation Programs and other Nation initiatives. On behalf of myself and my child/ward, I assign and transfer to the Township, any and all proprietary rights, including copyright, and waive all personality rights, which I may have, or my child/ward may have in the Media.
PRIVACY POLICY
Personal information is collected in accordance with Section 26(d) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for the purpose of recreation program admissions and registrations.
